Corazon Aquino is widely respected for leading a peaceful and popular movement in the late 1980s that overthrew dictator Ferdinand Marcos.

The "people power" movement that swept Corazon Aquino into the presidency was felt not just in the Philippines but also across the world.

I have no regret at all to join in people power to put her on the presidency.buong bansa ay naging masaya sa kanya hanggang sa kanyang kamatayan.

nakikiramay din ako sa pamilya aquino.

pero pag naiisip ko ang ginawa nila sa magsasaka ng hacienda luisita massacre mas nalulungkot ako. nawawala paghanga ko sa kanila.
